School Activities
At Wahana Harapan Tegal Angus School, students have many extracurricular options to develop their interests and talents. There are various exciting activities such as Vocal, Scout, Badminton, Futsal, Dance, Computer, Basketball, Paskibra, and Barongsai. Through these activities, students not only learn new skills but also build teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. The school fully supports each activity to help students grow both academically and non-academically.
Student Profile
Hello, my name is Sharlon Natalie. I am 12 years old, and my dream is to become a psychology specialist doctor. I live in Tegal Angus Village, Tangerang, Banten, with my parents and three siblings—I am the third of four children. My father works as an online motorcycle taxi driver, and my mother is a homemaker who always supports us in our studies. I am currently a 6th-grade student at Wahana Harapan School and have been a sponsored child of World Harvest since 3rd grade. Besides reading books, I really enjoy art and love drawing. In August 2022, I won first place in the Wahana Harapan School Art Competition with my drawing on the theme of “Unity of Indonesia.” I am very grateful to be part of World Harvest, as I receive monthly educational support from my sponsor and health services four times a year
New Fields
In 2025, Wahana Harapan School in Tegal Angus proudly celebrated the opening of its brand-new basketball and volleyball courts, marking an exciting milestone for the school community. The smooth surfaces, bright markings, and spacious design have brought a fresh spirit to students and teachers alike. Every break time, the courts are filled with laughter, energy, and friendly competition as students play and practice together. These new facilities are not just for sports, but also for building teamwork, discipline, and strong character. Hopefully, the new courts will continue to inspire every student to stay active, dream big, and achieve great things—both inside and outside the classroom.
Our Ministry
Wahana Harapan School
Wahana Harapan School was founded in 2000 as a service center that provides proper education for people in underprivileged communities, so that children in the community can grow into individuals who have good character.
Currently, Wahana Harapan Schools are located in four locations, namely in Tegal Angus, Malay and Kedaung Campuses (all three are in the Tangerang, Banten area) and one kindergarten in the Nias Islands (Sumatra). We provide education from Kindergarten to Middle School. Overall, currently the total number of Wahana Harapan School students is almost 450 children.
